Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast who was born on March 14, 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. Biles is believed to be one of the greatest gymnasts. The 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in one Games as well as the first gymnast to earn three consecutive all-around world championships (2013-15). Biles is a native of Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) took them in as adoptees. They were raised in the Houston metropolitan area. Simone was first introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her daycare teacher Aimee Borman, when she was six years old. She was a student at Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles, who won silver and gold medals at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in vault and floor exercise before her debut in 2011 at the top category of the competition. Two years after that Biles was the king of the field. Biles was notable for her consistent performance, exuberant persona, and the difficult routines she performed across the four events she competed in: vault, bars with uneven surfaces and balance beam.
