Tom Selleck-2Thomas William Selleck is an American actor from America. His breakout role was playing private investigator Thomas Magnum in the television series Magnum, P.I. (1980-1988), for whom the actor was nominated five times for the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead actor in the Drama Series. The award was presented to him in 1985. From 2010 to 2010 Selleck has been the New York City Police Chief Frank Reagan. In nine TV movies based upon the Robert B. Parker novels, he played Jesse Stone, a troubled small-town police chiefwho began his career in the year 2005. Selleck also played Peter Mitchell who was a student architect as well as a bachelor architecture student in Three Men and a Baby (1987) as well as Three Men and a Little Lady(1990). In addition to his role in Magnum, P.I., Selleck has appeared in more than 50 movies and television shows, which include the movies Quigley Down Under, Mr. Baseball, and Lassiter.
